Product description
A20000
SOTDMA AIS transmitter/receiver Class B with integrated antenna splitter, internal GPS antenna and NMEA2000
Highlights
- AIS Class B SOTDMA method
- 5 Watt radiated transmission power
- Higher transmission rate (depending on speed)
- Integrated antenna splitter
- Integrated GPS antenna
- NMEA2000 data output
- Handy, robust and waterproof housing
- Configuration of the device possible with USB power supply
- Internal data memory can be read out with USB power supply
- 1-channel transmitter
- 2-channel receiver for simultaneous and permanent monitoring of both AIS frequencies
- Channel sensitivity: better than -112dBm
The new easyTRX3 with SOTDMA presents the next Weatherdock generation of AIS Class B transceivers.
With a stronger transmission power of 5 watts and higher transmission rates for the AIS protocols, your navigation is improved and at the same time your safety on board is increased.
See and be seen even better!
The easyTRX3 AIS Class B SOTDMA transceiver includes an AIS transmitter and 2 AIS receivers to receive the transmitted AIS signals permanently and in parallel on the two AIS frequencies. A 72-channel GNSS/GPS receiver ensures the best possible reception of position information.
5 watts of transmission power increase the transmission range of your AIS position reports and thus also your visibility in your surroundings.
Thanks to the SOTDMA time slot transmission method used, the easyTRX3 is able to achieve higher transmission rates for its own AIS position reports. This is achieved by the easyTRX3 making a reservation for the same time slot in the next transmission when transmitting the AIS data.
The easyTRX3 has USB, NMEA2000, NMEA0183 and an internal VHF antenna splitter as standard. The integrated GPS receiver module is particularly interesting for owners of GRP and wooden hull boats, as it eliminates the need to install an external GPS antenna on these types of boat.
All AIS navigation data can be stored on the internal memory, similar to a black box, for data backup. With a USB connection to a PC/MAC, the memory can be read out or the relevant vessel data can be programmed into the easyTRX3 using the enclosed software, without the easyTRX3 having to be connected to its own power supply.
Thanks to its modular design, the easyTRX3 will also meet future requirements. In future, the device can be equipped and expanded with additional modules such as WiFi, DVB-T2 or mobile radio, depending on customer requirements.
